ahh the ignorance. I'm glad some of you are such experts on how the mind works lol.. it's a relief to hear that it's impossible to alter the way a child thinks through the use of video games. I'll leave it be. I didn't think this was the group to talk about this kinda thing with, but I figured since I used to play guildwars I'd share some info with the community. Take it for what you will, I'm just tryin to point out some possibilities.

I'll give you the Easter Island argument.....but the Aztecs..you sir/madam need to learn about the actual culture instead watching Apocalypto.
"Once the aztecs had decided to conquer a particular city, they sent an ambassador from Tenochtitlan to offer the city protection. They pointed out very politely the advantages of being able to trade with the Empire. All they asked for was a small gift of gold or precious stones for the emperor. The city was given twenty days to consider their request. If the city refused, more ambassadors arrived. This time the talk was tougher, less about the advantages of joining the Aztecs than about the destruction and death which came to any city that did not submit. To show how confident they were about the outcome of any future war, the Aztecs gave the enemy chief, magic potion, to make him strong in battle and presents of weapons for this soldiers! If this did not work, a third ambassador arrived twenty days later. Polite talk was replaced by blood curdling threats about what would happen after the city lost the war. This included destruction of the city's temple, enslavement of most of the population, and a promise that crippling tribute would be demanded for years to come"
so yeah..not for conquest at all.

while I don't doubt some video games are "programming" us (anyone remember that game that was put out by the u.s. army a few years back?), I think it's a bit naive to assume that video games are the cause of violence in the modern world.
There's violence in the modern world because there's humans in the modern world, we've been warring and killing each other since the beginning of recorded history and before, usually for very trivial and silly reasons.
Personally I find a lot of video game violence to be a good way to relieve my frustrations. Much better I take my anger out on some pixels than on another person.
not to mention that the majority of violent games are so far beyond the realm of reality that any "cues" picked up in them would almost certantly never come up in real life.
that being said there's a game rating system for a reason, parents need to learn to respect that more and not give their 8 year old an M rated video game.

I'm using video games as a way to introduce the subject basically. Look up some David Icke to find out what's really going on in the world.

listen to the way you word that sentence hahaha.. to try to get everyone who reads it to think david icke is crazy. Mainstream media portrays anyone involved with aliens or whatever as crazy so of course your gonna think that. doesn't suprise me, I expect that response. a brainwashed mind thinking what the media tells him.
Reptiles or not, how would I know if they exist I've never seen one? you ever see Jesus? know anyone that has?.. If you believe in Jesus watch www.zeitgeistmovie.com. anyways.. when you hear how smart David is and what he's knows about reality, it wouldn't suprise me that everything he's saying is true. Alot of the aparently crazy things he speaks of, are talked about all around the world in suprising similarities.
Ever hear of Credo Mutwa? he's an african zulu shaman.. very brilliant man. aliens.. other dimensions, different states of conciousness.. nothin new to him he's seen it all. Him and david have shockingly similar stories. If you ever hear them speak, they are incredibly similar in they're beliefs.
So exciting and mysterious the world is and your gonna occupy your mind with trying to come up with a witty insult cause David Icke has said something that goes against what is considered normal? and you think for yourself right?

Read David Ike and take what he says with a grain of salt. I am open to the idea of aliens, alternate dimensions, and such..but even this guy is just TOO much to believe. This is the same guy that said Bush Sr and Clinton were best buds before they got into office, that these two "buddies" have at their disposal brainwashed American soldiers that they will hunt and kill for sport, and own a harem of 1000 women that they brainwash to do whatever they want. I nearly got kicked out of the bookstore for laughing so hard.

ya man I know he's hard to believe. but think of why? cause you've been taught to think a certain way towards certain subjects such as aliens being laughable. Much like when the white man came to africa, they saw these black men wearing animal skins and thought.. savages.. look at these low life forms. When really, they wear animal skins to smell like the animal so they are not feared and attacked in the jungle. Sounds pretty smart to me.. It's all in the eye of the beholder as they say.
and guys.. focus less on my argument for video games. I mean don't get me wrong, I'm finding your comments funny and it's good to laugh at it all but as I said that is just one of the MANY ways they influence us. If you just play a couple hours of video games, not much is gonna change, it's the combination of all things most of you aren't even aware of. The games just put you into this state and under the right cirumstances, bad things could happen.
Icke may have some crazy theory's but the truth's he's uncovered are real without a doubt, and there's a definite plan to suppress our conciousness.
Never get a vaccine.. research that for yourself, and just think about it. no tinfoil hat will save you from one of those.. and if you have silver fillings.. get them removed. they are 50% mercury and could be the cause to any health problems you're experiencing. Noone should spend all their time worrying about all this horrible stuff, but if your not aware, your gonna fall into the trap and end up with cancer.

Um..medical policy..outside of your will and parents will..as a baby you get vaccinated against a TON of stuff.
Flu vaccine? I haven't bothered with getting one in years. Not for any evil government reasons, just don't see the need for myself to get one.

This is the closest we will come to agree. I have heard about the OLD fillings that were used contain some mercury, but I believe they ("they" as in those in the field of Dentistry) have changed methods/materials in the last few years (guessing about the last decade ..decade and a half). So guess I can agree with you on that concern.

did you research the vaccines? they ALL contain mercury as a "preservative". Of course we are forced to take them in school too, that's how evil this crap is. That's why we gotta wake up and refuse. We hear from a teacher, "get your vaccines it'll help protect you against this disease" why the hell wouldn't we believe it? It's our teacher. and it's not like your teacher is out to kill you lol.. she/he's just repeating what they've been told.
as for the fillings.. trust me they are still using them today. only a couple country's (I think germany or sweden) have banned them completely. It's funny how, they arrive at the dentist office labeled toxic waste: hazardous, and when they remove them from patients, they must dispose of them in a container labeled the same, toxic waste.. but they aren't toxic waste when they are in our mouths?!!!

Black men and aliens are similar in some way? I know the point you are trying to make but your argument is how we say it, crap. Aliens are hard to believe because they're so fully into our popular culture that it really only lives in entertainment industry and any facts that aliens exist is yet to be proven.
Only some things that have been brought up that sorta concerns me, power isn't bad, power is exercised daily in everyday society and usually has good results. Michel Foucault is a good person to read about power and I would really recommend people to read him.

I think they should even Illegalize games which reaches "Mature" Rating.
Games like this should never be out the first place.
Games like Grand Theft Auto, and some other games out there should be banned.
Sorry for GTA fans, but it has so much violence.
Only people with knowings what these games contain are Sadistic Sadists.
I meant by, there are people who just buy these games without knowing the content are not entirely bad.
But people who know that these games are all Gang War, Massacre and etc and would even buy these games for such reason for Sadistic Fun, are sick.
Games which are trully based on Fiction, I think is fine, but games which can be done in real life should be banned.
Games with Guns and Drugs, are bad. But games with Magic and Swords, are fine, yes it might sound more bad but no one has a real sword in there house and use it on people also there is no such thing as magic.
Edited:
Oh, I forgot not all games with Sword and Magic is fine.
Games with Gore and don't forget can be done in true life is bad.
Games like Mortal Kombat and etc.
When you say don't try this at home, they'll do it even.
Not all but some, Also use your common sense as if children would "always" listed to don't try this at home.

You know, he's right, if everyone is out to get you, you can't prove that they are because they're all covering it up. And the people who would diagnose that as schizophrenia, well, they're just all part of the conspiracy, too. Irregardless of all the amazing points he makes about aliens and mercury as a mind control agent, I'm closing this thread.
